"Open Sky" the I Festival of street art

...During the day it began the carnival procession along the Old Arbat. This is a celebration of life and happiness, full of good cheer and smiles. As the carnival procession moved along, it captivated hundreds of spectators walking along the Arbat, and these joined in the dance. The parade included minstrels, acrobats, and a three-meter high traffic cop with a baton. An old-style fire brigade orchestra took the lead, following the directives of their corpulent conductor. They energized and entertained the audience. For their part, the audience made no complaints about (one could even say they rather submissively put up with) the pranks the performers pulled; namely, the latter sprayed the audience with water, and then let loose a shower of confetti. Many made a special point of going out to the Arbat that night, having waited many years for Russia's very first theatrical street festival..."

Radio Station "Ekho Moskvy"

"...Come evening, the sky opened up to the remaining visitors in Gorky Park, where the Moscow-based Pyrogenic People set the already-scorching night air aflame with their Real Show.
