Christmas Ball in the "Hermitage" Garden
The end of 2005 was marked by an incredible event in the cultural life of the capital. On the 15th of December, on the threshold of fortune telling and Christmas balls, the event took place. "A Winter's Evening in the "Hermitage" gardens, organized by Moscow Central Business Club "Sobranie" and the society magazine "Millionaire International," in association with the production company "Akademplus". The Hermitage gardens were always the beloved place of theatrical and society bohemians. The organizers recaptured the atmosphere that used to reign here at the end of the 19th century. Performances by the gypsy group Russka Roma, performers Electra and Dmitri Belyavsky, singer-songwriters Vladimir Lotkin and Vladmir Utesov left an unforgettable impression on all those present. Girls in flower suits in the style of that century from "Interbouquet" welcomed guests, the gallant Sergey Grushevsky led the evening, and at the end of the night a fire show, dancing just out the windows awed the guests. 200 VIP guests from "Millionaire" took part in the event. |
